This three day trip takes you to Kidepo one of Uganda’s most spectacular parks and it is located in Uganda’s remote north –eastern corner. It is 1,442 square kilometers and harbors scenery unsurpassed in any other park in East Africa. It receives 890mm of rain fall of the southern part while 635 is received in the north. Tucked into the corner of Uganda’s border with Sudan and Kenya, the park offers breathtaking Savannah landscapes, you will be able to see many lions plus the rare ostrich.

Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1:Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park
Have an early Breakfast and drive to Kidepo National Park using the shortest (656 km) route which will take you from Kampala – Soroti – Kotido via Amuria to the far North-East where Uganda borders Kenya and Southern Sudan. Travel time from Kampala to Kidepo National Park is about 9 Hours.
You will have an opportunity of viewing some of the Park animals and birds found close by the camp.

Day 2:Explore Kidepo Valley National Park (Game Drive, Scenic Viewing and Community Walk)
After an early morning breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. Where a variety of animals and birds can be seen roving around like the fast running Ostrich.
Have an afternoon Game Drive that will take you through the Narus Valley to see herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras and hopefully some lions, leopard and the elusive cheetah. This will also enable you to be in full sight of varieties of birds as well.
Stops will be made at any time in order for you to be able to take pictures of fabulous wildlife and birds along the way. En route to your camp for lunch and have a brief rest, until evening where you will go for a cultural tour in the Karamajong community.
Here you will spend a wonderful evening with Karamojong people and have an insight of their way of life and beliefs. At the end of the tour you will be able to understand why their pride makes them slow to adapt to globalization.

Day 3:Kidepo Valley National Park (Scenic Viewing) – Drive to Kampala
After breakfast and experience beautiful scenery as you travel back to Kampala having lunch en-route on the way. The travel time from Kidepo National Park to Kampala is about 9 Hours.
