Welcome to Uganda’s largest conservation area ( 3,893 km²) and most visited park located on the shore of Lake Albert, in Northwestern Uganda. It’s known for Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop. Park wildlife includes elephants and hippos, and there are chimpanzees in the Kaniyo Pabidi mahogany forest. The Lake Albert Delta is home to rare shoebill storks. There is also spot fishing in the cascades of Karuma Falls..

Besides the thunderous falls, a game drive to the northern part of the park is an opportunity to spot lions, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, bushbucks among others seen roaming in the vast savannah, Murchison Falls National Park also covers a big part of Budongo Forest which is a hub for various primates. Chimpanzee tracking, which is one of the most exciting primate tracking adventure.
The Delta area which forms part of Murchison Falls national park is the best place to see the rare shoebill stock. A boat cruise to the Delta area where the shoe bill is sighted offers great opportunity to see game as hippos, crocodiles, lots of bird species among others.
After your breakfast, meet up with your guide who will take you to the northwestern part of Uganda.
Along the way, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to view the endangered rhinos along with some antelopes and then embark on your journey to Murchison falls national park Uganda a park full of wonders with its spectacular waterfall. You will have lunch en route.
Accommodation options
Have an early breakfast, and head out for an early morning game drive as this will give you a chance you to view a wide range of animals especially nocturnals as they retire, elephant herds, giraffes, buffalos, heart beasts among others .
After the game drive , get back to the lodge for lunch as you relax a bit for the afternoon launch cruise on the Albert Nile which enables you to view different animals and bird species along the river banks. like nile crocodiles, hippos and a number of water birds.
You will cruise to the bottom of the falls and then hike to the top of the falls so you can have a panoramic view of the strongest falls in the world.
After breakfast, get ready for an early morning game drive as you get out of the park heading to kampala. lunch will be enroute.
