    This trips takes you to Uganda’s smallest savanna park( 371sq.km) located in Western Uganda. Lake Mburo is   a rich park full of different wonders. The park has canals that connect the 13 lakes that are found in this area 5 of which lie between the boundaries of the park with lake mburo being  the largest of all. The park is also home to a number of mammals including leopards, elands, zebras and impalas among others and over 350 bird species.

    The equator, game drives, boat cruise, nature walk


    Day 1Transfer to Lake Mburo National park

     After your breakfast, meet your driver/guide for briefing  and later drive towards the Western part of Uganda. You will have a stopover at Mpambire drum makers village where you will observe and also get to know how the locals make the drums also at the equator for photography. On arrival in the park, continue for lunch at any hotel or lodge. After lunch you will have a boat ride along the lake where you will have a great time having a chance to see different animals like the crocodiles, hippos, topis and birds like the fish eagles. Later return to the lodge for diner and an overnight.

    Day 2Nature walk & Community walk

    Wake up as early as 6:00Am, meet a ranger guide and setoff for your walk looking out for nocturnals as they retire. During this walk  you will  see the Elands, giraffes, Impalas, warthogs, zebras, impalas, topis and many other mammal species. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.

    Later in the evening, you can have a nature walk to the neighboring communities in the park.

    Day 3Morning Game drive & Return to kampala

    Have an early morning breakfast and start off the game drive through the Park, it will takes 3 hours. This will give you an amazing glimpse of the Savannah and the 5 lakes. You will also see various animals such as buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, hyenas, topis, hippos, also not forgetting the different bird species on the acacia trees and near the lake making beautiful sounds. After the game drive check out of the lodge  and head to kampala. Lunch will be enroute.

    End of safari

    Other activities that can be involved in include sport fishing and horse back riding.
