This 3 days safari into the wilds of Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla Park will lead you to an ultimate experience of tracking man’s closest cousins. Bwindi Impenetrable National park lying in the steep slippery valley’s of south western Uganda is home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorilla’s and one of the 3 Uganda’s UNESCO Heritage sites. Expect to have close encounter with these great Apes.

Safari Highlight:

Day 01: Transfer from Kampala/ Entebbe to Bwindi

Day 02: Tracking the Gorillas.

Day 03: Transfer back to Kampala.


Day 01: Travel by road from Kampala/Entebbe to Bwindi-About 9hours driving time

Start with breakfast at your overnight accommodation. Transfer early enough from Kampala ahead to south west of the country accompanied by professional guide. Have an en-route stop in kayabwe at the Equator for a short trip and later proceed through the pleasant savannas of Lyantonde. Lunch en-route at Igongo cultural Centre or Agip Hotel and proceed to the park through Kabale having spectacular view of kigezi Highlands. Dinner and overnight at the lodge, Meal Plan(MP): Full Board(FB) Overnight: Chameleon hill lodge/Silverback lodge (up-market) or Mahogany spring/ Nkuringo lodge (midrange) or Wagtail eco lodge/Buhoma Bandas (Budget).

Day 02: Ultimate Gorilla Tracking.

Breakfast at the lodge, and prepare to set off for Gorilla Tracking an unforgettable African experience. Transfer with your Guide to the park visitor reception Centre for registration at 0730hrs and later be part of the briefing at 0800hrs. You will then partake in tracking into the wilds of Bwindi which activity lasts about 1-2 hours or the entire day depending on where gorillas were left the previous day and their movements. This therefore calls for reasonable level of fitness. We shall carry our lunch boxes with us and enjoy a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at the lodge: MP: Full Board.

Day 03: Travel back to Kampala or Entebbe.

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, prepare for check-out and later embark on our long drive to Kampala from Bwindi. Have an en-route stop in Mbarara for lunch, and then proceed to Kampala/Entebbe.
